15-Point Quality Checklist

Your order is in good hands with us. 

After you place your order with Musyoki Musyoka, our printing experts run your order through our 15-point quality checklist. They review and advise on the following:

1. Text and image safety: Text and images are within the safety lines.

2. Resolution: Images are at least 300 DPI (dots per inch).

3. Borders: Borders on your printed piece are at least 1/4-inch thick, plus 1/8-inch bleed for a total size of 3/8-inch thick.

4. Colours options: Colour options that are selected are correct.
   1. Full Colour Both Sides
   2. Full Colour Front Side / Black Back
   3. Full Colour Front Side, Blank Back

5. Double crop marks: Images do not have crop marks. Our system adds appropriate crop marks as needed.

6. Key lines (also known as holding lines): We check to ensure that there are no key lines showing in your printed piece.

7. Drop outs: We review your piece for faded or eliminated colour and copy.

8. Watermarks: We inspect your printed piece for any unnecessary watermarks.

9. Illegal images: Musyoki Musyoka is unable to print sexually or violently explicit materials.

10. Orientation: Designs are facing the correct direction, and not upside-down or backwards

11. Perforation/score safety: Proper perforation and score placement.

12. Hole drill: We check for proper hole placement.

13. Indicia: If your printed piece is being mailed, we check for a correct indicia.

14. Shipping area: We make sure that your order includes a shipping area that falls within our guidelines.

15. Image centred: We check that the image is centred properly.
